Hi, Thanks for your question. Unfortunately the Koblenz does not suck up the water. It will do an excellent job scrubbing the floor, much better than the Floor mate does, but it does not have an extraction part of it, so you will need to have another machine to do vacuum up the water when you are through with scrubbing the floors with the Koblenz. A shop vac will work great for this purpose, or a just a small wet/Dry vacuum, Koblenz even makes a good wet/dry that is not very expensive. I have an older model Hoover Floor Mate but the small brushes just doesn’t suck up water well. Koblenz machine but it appears it doesn’t suck up the water. Is there a machine with the large brushes that also sucks up the water?
